This course will allow students to explore current research relating diet and lifestyle choices to the prevention of various health conditions. The main topic areas include obesity, digestive health, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and cancer. Students will learn about diet and lifestyle factors that increase or decrease risk of these conditions, evaluate evidence, and compare strategies for prevention.
